Day 1 – Welcome to Vietnam – Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival at Hanoi International airport, our tour guide & driver will well come you and transfer you to hotel in town. If time permits, we will have a brief city tour in Hanoi visit: the Old Quarter, and Hoankiem Lake.
Welcome dinner in a fine restaurant hosted by Vietnam Today Travel.
Evening highlight will be a Water Puppet Performance – the unique form of Vietnamese art derived from wet rice civilization of South East Asia.

Day 2 – Hanoi City tour – Drive to Ha long bay
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a half day city tour of Hanoi – Vietnam's artistic and intellectual capital. Visit Hanoi's main cultural attractions, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, and the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, we will spend 3 hours driving through the countryside of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. On arrival, check in your hotel. Evening free to relax.

Day 3 – Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – Fly to Danang
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick up you and drive you to the Halong habour where you board your private boat for a 4-hour journey. Cruise through the emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors, visit Dau Go Cave ‘Grotto of the Wooden Stakes’ where in 1288 one of Vietnam’s most famous generals, Tran Hung Dao, amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongolian army.
A short walk away, visit the newly discovered Thien Cung Cave (‘Grotto of the Heavenly Palace “), famous for its stalagmites and stalactites. The cave has only been opened to the public since 1998.
A fresh seafood lunch will be served on board before journeying back to Halong City where your car will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi for the flight to Danang.
On arrival in Danang, our driver will welcome you and take you to your hotel in Hoian

Day 4 – Hoian
From the 16th to 18th centuries, HoiAn was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, and Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics.
Today, HoiAn is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailor shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.
After lunch we take a short boat trip to a nearby island to visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics, and also the boat building yards. Hoi An is now one of UNESCO's fifth World Heritage designated sites in Vietnam. Then, back to your hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Day 5 – Hoian – Hue
Meet the driver at the lobby of the hotel and leave Hoian in the morning, drive to Hue over the 500m high HaiVan pass with a stop at the scenic beach of Lang Co for a drink before proceeding to Hue. This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba market.

Day 6 – Hue – Saigon
Free until transfer to airport for flight to Saigon.
Arrival Saigon, pick up and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon you will have a city tour visiting the central post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, BenThanh market.
Rest of the day we suggest you tour Saigon’s down town with it’s many gift shops and galleries.

Day 7 – Saigon – Day trip to Mekong delta
Our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and we will drive to Cai Be. The program will start with the visit of Cai Be’s colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice pop-corn is made.
Visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce and Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage proof.
A delicious lunch will be served at an ancient house over 170 years old or under the shade of local orchards on An Binh Island
After lunch, a traditional rowboat will take you deeper into the countryside on small canals to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You’ll see the traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and the activities of the local farmers to see how they catch fish or pick up fruits using the ancient customs of the Mekong Delta.
Another stop can be made at a nursery garden where you will discover how the growers of the Mekong Delta produce their world famous fruits and vegetables. You can meet Mr Tiger and his son who are successful in Vietnam agriculture. We will enjoy different types fruit from his garden and homemade rice wine while listening to traditional music
The cruise will end at around 3.30 PM in Vinh Long town. Then we will drive back to Saigon.

Day 8 – Saigon Departure
Free on your own until time to transfer to the airport for departure flight..

From 1010 until 1802, it was the most important political centre of Vietnam. It was eclipsed by Huế during the Nguyễn dynasty as the capital of Vietnam, but Hanoi served as the capital of French Indochina from 1902 to 1954. From 1954 to 1976, it was the capital of North Vietnam.
The city is located on the right bank of the Red River. Hanoi is located at 1,760 km (1,090 mi) north of Ho Chi Minh City.
October 2010 officially marked 1000 years since the establishment of the city. On this occasion, Hanoi was named by Frommer's travel guide as one of the world's "Top Destinations 2010"

Ha Long
Hạ Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination, located in Quảng Ninh province, Vietnam. Administratively, the bay belongs to Hạ Long City, Cẩm Phả town, and part of Van Don district. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. Hạ Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.

Hoi An
Hội An is a city of Vietnam, on the coast of the South China Sea in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is located in Quảng Nam province and is home to approximately 120,000 inhabitants. It has been recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The city possessed the largest harbour in Southeast Asia in the 1st century and was known as Lâm Ấp Phố (Champa City). Between the seventh and 10th centuries, the Cham (people of Champa) controlled the strategic spice trade and with this came tremendous wealth. The boats still used today in Hội An probably have the same hull shape as those used by the Champas for ocean voyages.

Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City formerly named Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam. It was once known as Prey Nokor (Khmer: ព្រៃនគរ), an important Khmer sea port prior to annexation by the Vietnamese in the 17th century.
Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochin-china and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. In 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Hồ Chí Minh City after Hồ Chí Minh (although the name Sài Gòn is still commonly used.)
