DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive – Phnom Penh (D)
Arrive Phnom Penh by afternoon flight, Phnom Penh - the city retains its traditional Khmer and colonial charm. French villas along tree-lined boulevards remind the visitor that the city was once considered the gem of Southeast Asia. Recent political changes have triggered an economic boom of sorts, with new hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs springing up around the city.
We visit to the Royal Palace compound build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces. Nearside the Royal Palace is Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), display plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver. Travelers will proceed to visit Independence Monument which was constructed in 1954 after Cambodian took their country back from French colony, continuing visit to National Museum, the distinctive red building with a beautiful Khmer architecture was build since 1917 and contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood and others. We pass through the River Front park whose scenery is much worth shooting, and continue to the only one hill in town with sacred sites called Wat Phnom before boarding on boat for Mekong River Cruise 1 hour bank to see the lovely Phnom Penh city at night with breathtaking view along the river.
Day 2 Phnom Penh – Chiphat (B,D)
Transfer from Phnom Penh to Chi Phat on the national road number 4. Arrive at Andoung Teok where we will catch local boat upstream journey along the Preak Piphot River. During this journey through mangrove forests, as well as witnessing typical river edge villages and homes, be on the lookout for birds and mammals coming to the waters edge to drink You will arrive in Chi Phat district in the afternoon. Then you go to Chi Phat Ecotourism office for the explanation about your trip. Check in at your guesthouse (basic facilities inc. mosquito net) for the refreshment. We walk to nearby Waterfall for refreshing yourself into clear water and enjoy swimming. Welcome Dinner at the Community Ecotourism Office. It is then an early night to be prepared for an early start the following day.
Day 3 Cardamom Mountain Trekking: Chiphat – Veal Ta Prak (12.5 Km) (B, L, D)
We’ll have an early start this morning and after breakfast you will be introduced to your trekking guide. Then the fun really begins when you take the first steps of your trek, along the way you will discover many local waterfalls and swimming areas as well as experiencing mountain village life as you pass by traditional wooden houses and through a canopy of mango, banana and jackfruit trees. We trek along a single track between banana trees before coming to Veal Ta Prak. Arrive Cam site we set up camp for the night. Evening we walk to nearby pond and try to spotting wild animals which come to the pond. Come back to the camp site and have dinner made by our forest cook.
Day 4 Cardamom Mountain Trekking: Veal Ta Prak – Chiphat (B, L, D)
We get up early to watch a beautiful sunrise before heading back to camp for breakfast prepared by our forest cook. We continue trekking to O’Chonleas Pran (Refugee River) by passing small stream and meadow. Arrive at Damnak Kos where we set for lunch. We get on traditional row boat along the Stoeng Prat (Cattle Skin Cord) River and long river enjoy birds watching. Arrive in Chiphat you will be free. Dinner at Community office.
Day 5 Chiphat – Phnom Penh (B, L)
Morning will bid farewell to Chi Pat as you journey back to Andoung Tuk. On arrival at Andoung Tuk you will meet your waiting vehicle and depart for Phnom Penh, allowing you time to reflect on the wonderful and unique Cardamom Mountain trekking experience you have enjoyed in the seldom visited mountains of Cambodia, and taking away very fond memories. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 6 Phnom Penh – Udong Stupas – Siem Reap (B, L)
We depart for Siem Reap by road with English guide. En route, visit a Cham Muslim village. Arrive Udong then visit the various temples and the three large Stupas where the ashes of three former Kings are preserved.
Next, visit the most impressive structure of the site, the "Vihara of the 18-Cubit Buddha".
We travel on Route 6 today to Skuon town for a sampling of sautéed spiders-a local delicacy. On the way visit archeological “Naga Bridge” at Kompong Kdei. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 7 Siem Reap Exploration (B, L)
We start on our bike and cycle (45 minutes for cycling) to world heritage areas on the roads less travelled. Ride among the jungle passing local village and local shop. It’s a very special and acting day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.

Day 8 Siem Reap Exploration (B, D)
Early morning we start witness sunrise over Angkor Wat temple and listening singing birds over the ancient land of Angkor area. We walk to nearby Pagoda and offering food to monks. After monks finished breakfast we start enjoy our breakfast box on the ground floor of pagoda, jasmine tea will be served in the peaceful of pagoda.
Farwell dinner with Apsara Dance show at local restaurant.
Day 9 Siem Reap – Departure (B, L)
Today we will visit Sangkheum Center for Children and Artisan Angkor, which is handicraft center. Sangkheum Center is the place that you can join the children language or handicraft classes, etc. Mainly children are from poor families, some are orphans or street kids. Today is a chance to make a difference and see so much more. Your chance to really see what real life is like in a Cambodian Village. We start our trip toward a local village by driving through local villages, pass rice plantations and herds of cows or buffalo. We are happy to stop along the way allowing you to capture some great photo opportunities. Arriving at the Village, we meet our host family for the day and we embark on Ox cart to visiting the Khmer Village and enjoy view of the rice field and a lots of palm trees with great fresh air. This tour program provides them with a sustainable stream of income, and creates opportunities for the entire village. Life in a Cambodian village revolves around the seasons. Rice planting makes way for harvest and then rice sorting and husking. We head to a local school and Pagoda. This is a great chance to meet some very friendly children and give them the chance to practice their English skills! The tour of the Pagoda provides an interesting insight into Buddhism and its role in the daily lives of the Khmer people. We board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals.
Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to next destination. Say goodbye to your Cambodian guide and driver. Goodbye Cambodia!!!!
