This was the trip of a lifetime. To immerse ourselves ito the culture and history of this beautiful country and its charming  people was truly wonderful.  Quyen’s organisation of the tour was beyond excellence. Every move was orchestrated. Due to the humour, intelligence and passion of this young man we had the most exciting holiday ever. Well done and thank you Quyen!

Rob Illingworth from Scotland
Hai our tour guide was a first rate tour guide. He was enthusiastic, helpful and funny. His knowledge at the local area and history meant that all of the local events were brilliant. Hai went above and beyon and thanks to that made the this the most enjoyable trip that I have been on. He is certainly an access to the Travels To Vietnam. Thoroughly enjoyed it- with enough diversity of excursions and activities to make the whole trip a huge success.

Overnight in Hue.

Day2: In Hue (B, L)
Pick up you from your hotel at around 8:00am for a full day discovering Hue, former Imperial capital during the Nguyen Dynasty. We will take a boat cruise on the gentle Perfume River to the seven-tiered Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. We will then continue by car and visit Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, before visiting Emperor Khai Dinh’s Mausoleums in the afternoon. We will also stop in a handicraft workshop along the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hue.

Day 3: Hue – DMZ (the Demilitarized Zone) (B, L)
After breakfast, we are transferred to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). On our arrival, we will visit La Vang Church, the Old Citadel of Quang Tri and Dong Ha town. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll discover the 17th parallel, Ben Hai River, Vinh Moc tunnels and the Museum. On our drive back to Hue, we will stop at Cua Tung Beach.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue – Hoian (B, L)
This morning we depart by bus to Hoian. A four-hour scenic drive will take us through spectacular Hai Van Pass – Pass of Ocean Clouds. The bus trip also allows us a quick stop at China Beach which was also known as the American GI’s R&R (rest and recreation). We arrive in Hoian at around mid-day, where we can have lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant; sampling the delicious cuisine of Hoian such as Cao Lau (White Rose). After lunch we will commence a walking tour of the Old Town. This old merchant town is filled with a rich, colorful history, with each building a unique story to tell. We will visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the Quan Cong Temple, the Japanese Bridge and Phung Hung Old House. Hoian is famous for its tailoring shops as well, so there will plenty of opportunity to visit a tailor to have some clothing made.
Overnight in Hoian.

Day 5: Hoian – My Son Sanctuary (B, L)
Today we take a trip to My Son and find out more about the history and culture of Vietnam. The site was chosen by Champa King Bhadravarnam to be a religious sanctuary where he built many beautiful temples and towers. This zone is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you explore the area, you'll come across many temples dedicated to Kings and Brahman deities, including Lord Shiva who was considered the creator, founder and defender of the Champa Kingdom. We will also find out about the two clans of the Champa people, the Cau and the Dua, and learn about their histories and culture through displays of sculptures and carvings found throughout the temples. At around midday, we return to Hoian.
Overnight in Hoian.

Day 6: In Hoian (B)
Today is free at leisure. We can revisit the tailors to fit our clothing or explore the local markets. We can also hire a bicycle to see the countryside of Hoian or soak up the sun at the beautiful Cua Dai Beach. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 7: Hoian – Danang Departure (B)
