DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Saigon Arrival (D)
Transferred to the hotel and your free time until our welcome dinner in a Vietnamese BBQ restaurant. Let’s start our trip with grilling our own food!
Overnight in Saigon
Day 2: Saigon City Tour and Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L, D)
This morning we see the War Remnant Museum, the Notre Damn Cathedral, the General Post Office. Then we drive for about 1½ hour to Ben Nay restaurant for lunch before we explore the underground system of Cu Chi tunnel. Back to hotel in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Saigon
Day3: Saigon – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B, L, D)
Today’s 3 hour drive will take us deep into the heart of Mekong Delta to Vinh Long City. Once arrive we will see the Cai Be floating market and some local family cottage industries that produce coconut candy, rice paper, fish-source, etc. After lunch in a family garden we will drive to Can Tho Check into our hotel. Relax and overnight in Can Tho
Day 4: Can Tho – Saigon (B, L)
We say goodbye to the family and board the sampan to the Cai Rang floating market to see the most exciting floating market in the region. The bus then drives us back to Saigon for our night.
Day 5: Saigon – Da Lat (B, L)
Today we take 6 hour drive to Da Lat with many photo stops en-route and lunch in a local restaurant on the way. Once arrive to Da Lat, we will see some city’s highlights including King Bao Dai Summer Palace, Hang Nga Villa – known as Crazy House, Truc Lam Zen Buhddist Pagoda and ride the cable car.
Overnight in Da Lat.
Day 6: Da Lat (B, L)
After breakfast and a bit of free time, we will take a Da Lat market tour to buy the ingredients then follow a local Da Lat lady to her home for our cooking class right in her kitchen. The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy this romantic city of flowers.

Day 7: Da Lat – Nha Trang (B, L)
After 5 hour driving downhill we will come to the beach town of Nha Trang. After seafood lunch is your leisure time to enjoy the beach or exploring Nha Trang City.

Day 8: Nha Trang – Mieu Island (B)
We cruise to Mieu Island in this morning to see fisherman life in this exciting village. We also have chance to experience 5 minute round basket boat ride then cruise to the other side of the island where we spend the rest of the day relaxing on the peaceful Mini Beach. Back to the hotel in the aftenoon.
Overnight in Nha Trang
Day 9: Nha Trang – Hoian (B, L)
We take our morning flight to Da Nang and transfer to Hoian with a stop at the Marble Mountain for sight-seeing. Once arrival we will have a light lunch in a famed Hoian restaurant followed by a walking tour to the old quarter. Our visit will come to Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old House, Japanese Bridge then it will be your free time to enjoy the town and shopping.

Day 10: Hoian – Cooking Class (B, D)
It’s our free day until late afternoon cooking class at Morning Glory restaurant. Being one of the first cooking schools in Hoi An, the Morning Glory has garnered a well-deserved reputation over the years for its classes. Owner and founder Ms Trinh Diem Vy is a third generation chef and native of Hoi An whose cooking classes have featured in various publications around the world.

Day 11: Hoian – Hue (B, L)
Rise early for breakfast and drive up north a long the China Beach, through Da Nang City, Over Hai Van Pass, stop at Lang Co Beach are our activity this morning. Lunch will be in Hue city then tour the Royal Citadel. Check in the hotel.

Day 12: Hue City Tour: (B, L, D)
Today we take a bus ride to King Khai Dinh Mausoleum and King Tu Duc Mausoleum. Our lunch today will be served in a Buddhist Nunnery with all vegetarian food. We then take the dragon boat cruise downstream visiting Thien Mu Pagoda then back to the hotel for free time. Tonight we enjoy our cooking class in a well-known restaurant with a famous chef.

Day 13: Hue – Fly Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Our early fly takes us to Hanoi then we drive for about 4 hours to HaLong Bay through scenic countryside of the Red River Delta. The traditional junk with then cruise us through breathtaking sea-scape with mountains out-cropping from the emerald water. We also explore a one of the largest cave which nestles in a limestone island. We have seafood lunch, dinner and spend the night on board.

Day 14: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Our boat cruise further into the bay while we have breakfast then head back to the harbour for our drive to Hanoi. Check into our hotel then we enjoy the water puppet show before dinner.

Day 15: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
We spent this morning exploring Hanoi’s highlights including Ho Chi Minh Complex (outside only), the Temple of Literature, the “Hanoi Hilton” – Hoa Lo prison. After lunch we will have a rest until the afternoon cooking class with a famed Hanoian in her own restaurant. Again, we eat what we cook and it’s also our farewell dinner tonight.

Day 16: Departure day (B)
Free time until transfer to the airport for your flight home with your fond Vietnamese cooking recipes. Bon Voyage!
